How is propofol given? Propofol is injected into a vein through an IV. A healthcare provider will give you this injection. You will relax and fall asleep very quickly after propofol is injected.

This medication is used to treat certain types of serious (possibly fatal) irregular heartbeat (such as persistent ventricular tachycardia). It is used to restore normal heart rhythm and maintain a regular, steady heartbeat. Mexiletine is known as an anti-arrhythmic drug.
- How to use:
How to use Mexiletine HCL. Take this medication by mouth with a full glass of water (8 ounces/240 milliliters and food or an antacid, usually 2 to 3 times daily or exactly as directed by your doctor. Taking this medication with food or an antacid helps to decrease certain side effects
- Dosage of usage:
The dosage of MEXITIL (mexiletine hydrochloride, USP) must be individualized on the basis of response and tolerance, both of which are dose-related. Administration with food or antacid is recommended. Initiate MEXITIL (mexiletine hcl) therapy with 200 mg every eight hours when rapid control of arrhythmia is not essential. A minimum of two to three days between dose adjustments is recommended. Dose may be adjusted in 50 or 100 mg increments up or down.
As with any antiarrhythmic drug, clinical and electrocardiographic evaluation (including Holter monitoring if necessary for evaluation) are needed to determine whether the desired antiarrhythmic effect has been obtained and to guide titration and dose adjustment.

Introduction of product - Cyproheptadine is a first generation antihistamine used in the treatment of allergic rhinitis and urticaria and as an appetite stimulant. Cyproheptadine has been linked to rare instances of clinically apparent liver injury.
How does it work - Cyproheptadine is in a class of medications called antihistamines. It works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms.
Applications. Or where it is used - Cyproheptadine relieves red, irritated, itchy, watery eyes; sneezing; and runny nose caused by allergies, irritants in the air, and hay fever. It may also be used to relieve the itching of allergic skin conditions, and to treat hives, including hives caused by exposure to cold temperatures and by rubbing the skin.

How to use - Cyproheptadine comes as a tablet and a solution (liquid) to take by mouth. It is usually taken two or three times a day. Take cyproheptadine at around the same time(s) every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand.

Introduction of product: Metoclopramide is a medication used for stomach and esophageal problems. It is commonly used to treat and prevent nausea and vomiting, to help with emptying of the stomach in people with delayed stomach emptying, and to help with gastroesophageal reflux disease. It is also used to treat migraine headaches. Metoclopramide is in a class of medications called prokinetic agents. It works by speeding the movement of food through the stomach and intestines.
How does it work: Metoclopramide works by blocking a natural substance (dopamine). It speeds up stomach emptying and movement of the upper intestines. This drug is not recommended for use in children due to an increased risk of serious side effects (such as muscle spasms/uncontrolled muscle movements). Metoclopramide takes about one to three minutes to start working following an intravenous dose; 10-15 minutes following an intramuscular dose;and 30-60 minutes following an oral dose. Effects last for approximately one to two hours.
Applications. Or where it is used: Metoclopramide is used to prevent nausea and vomiting from surgery or chemotherapy. It is also used by people with diabetes who have slow emptying of their stomachs (gastroparesis). Treating gastroparesis can decrease symptoms of nausea, vomiting, and stomach/abdominal fullness. Metoclopramide is used to relieve heartburn and speed the healing of ulcers and sores in the esophagus (tube that connects the mouth to the stomach) in people who have gastroesophageal reflux disease.
